Tending to your Sacred Grief: A Medicine Path from Your Animal’s Transition.

Over three weekends we explore the medicine path teachings of grief and the sacred it is to help bring support, softness and seeing our animal friend’s transition in a medicine way of initiation.  We will explore how to build soul resilience for grief and work with it in a sacred way, seeing it as soul work we are being called to enter. This is an online teaching.

Gathering one (17th-20th September): Building Resilience through your own sacred soul circle

Gathering two (15th-18th October): Building Resilience through land, nature, spirit and ancestors

Gathering three (26th-29th November): Sacred Grief Ceremony 

As part of the ceremony, we will eat an evening meal together on day one, two and three, that you will prepare for yourself.

Sacred Grief Ceremony

A four day online or in person ceremony where we will powerfully hold sacred space and build ceremony to intimately and intentionally be with grief we feel from the transition of our animal friend and extending this out to all the griefs we carry as sorrows of our heart. We will be in connection with the unseen to call on healing and medicine for the grief we feel and connect with nature and elements to support us.

After creating sacred space and preparing ourselves, we will build ceremony with strong intention for healing needed as we navigate the space of honouring our animal friend that has transitioned and calling upon healing from this.

As part of the ceremony we will eat an evening meal together on day one and day two that we prepare ourselves.

Renewal Lodge

Traditionally known as a sweat lodge or purification lodge, we will begin my making a sacred fire in which to place selected stones for the sweat lodge that will have been blessed.

We will stand in ceremony and light the fire before entering the rainbow lodge. There will be a set number of rounds and, in each round, we will welcome the stone people as we call in support, prayers, spirit and intention to be cleansed, healed, purified any specific purpose for the ceremony.

These will be held between 5-7 hours in total from building the fire to leaving the rainbow lodge.

Conversations with Fire & Firewalk

We all face challenges in our life and it can be said that these are the real fire walks of our life. We can be with these real fires in a medicine way and explore with sacred how we can move, transform, give warmth to and receive teachings from these fires that we walk upon – trauma, pain, challenges, grief, wounds, mental or physical anguish.

Our body is the temple in which these fires are held. When the fire within matches the fire without we are able to hold these fires we face in a way that is steady, calm and transforming – we are ble to witness these fires burn out so that we do not.

In Conversations with Fire you enter ceremony with yourself and connecting with the power of spirit fire, Grandfather fire, to welcome your own spirit fire home – the spirit fire that burns within you. Allow the fire you walk upon to transform, awaken, unearth and feel those parts of yourself that have been laying dormant, silent and un-noticed as you give heat to these parts that are within you and dampen down the fires that have consumed you.

The ceremony continues out on the land and being in ceremony with fire itself and entering a sacred conversation with it for what you wish to speak, declare and ask for and for what the fire knows you need – he is the teacher.

Declare who you are by walking the fire and what you can overcome and achieve after reclaiming who you are with an arrow break.

Plant Spirit Immersions: Cacao Master Plant Teacher

Be with the Grandmothers ~ Release Grief ~ Soften the sorrows of your Heart

Cacoa is alive, she is a living being, an incredible teacher and a master plant spirit. She is soft, subtle, smooth but powerful – she knows exactly where to pour her soft voice of medicine song and work its way in your body, landing in to your soul. 

Cacao has a way of bringing light to the darkest spaces, to the darkness of shadows within us and where the light may have gone out. She has a way of softening the parts of self that have become hardened, bringing trust, reassurance and an overwhelming sense of “all is well.” Her presence is cathartic, you can’t not trust her. 

Cacao is glorious medicine and often underrated, over-used and abused. She has much to offer but asks for respect and, when meeting her, to do so in a respectful way and the space you are meeting. 

The way that Cacao invites me to work with her, to share with others, to speak of her and what she offers me is her ability to soften grief. She just knows how and where to move in the body to meet the consciousness of grief we carry inside of us, what to say, how to soothe and hold this grief so that it can feel softer, feel less, feel removed – even if just a little. 

The song she carries from the spirits of the lands where she resides, the voices of her people, the sounds of the animals and the presence of her spirit is all there available for you to drink and receive. 

Cacao offers herself to you to support you and comfort your grief and sorrows of the heart. This is not the only medicine she carries, but is how she and I work together with her medicine.

If you wish to explore a meeting with her, I offer 1-1 cacao immersions online, in person as well as online group immersions. 

In keeping with my integrity and respect through reciprocity, my relationship with cacao is that of Cacao Chuncho and I only work with her, through my soul lineage teacher who has a long generational relationship with cacao where it has been running in her blood through many ancestors and where she knows the lands, the people, the spirits and the cacao farmer well. It is a blessing when such beautiful medicine wishes to travel to be in our hands and hearts, but we do not take. We hold respect, honour and appreciation for who cacao is, all involved and endured for her to travel to us. Cacao wishes to be with us for she knows we are hurting and she can support, but she also asks to be recognised, valued and held in gratitude for the master plant teacher she is. If we do not respect her, then we do not know her and her medicine will be nothing but a nice or pleasant experience.

Return to Ceremony: Return to your Sacred Circle

A three day online workshop where you will explore teachings of the medicine wheel and connecting to your own sacred circle as a tool to your own healing and wholeness.

We will begin with teachings of the medicine wheel and how to be conscious of these and your own sacred circle before building relationship, connection and awareness of these allies as teachers for your life journey and how to stay within your sacred circle.

We will explore power animal and spirit guide connections, relationship with nature allies and the intelligences of your scared circle so that you are able to consciously and intuitively connect with these and return to living in ceremony – a place of heart awareness and soul consciousness.

You will experience connecting with the unseen and invisible realm that is very much a part of the physical world and of yourself where you can recognise that what shows up for you does so as a teaching, message or medicine to keep you in your sacred circle and build even deeper relationship with it and your allies.

Vision Quest

An eight-day gathering as a small and intimate group where we will first prepare for a vision quest before going out on Northumberland lands for three days and three nights in fast, prayer and connection with nature, the unseen and strong intention of the vision you seek.

The vision quest will begin with a rainbow lodge purification and end with a firewalk ceremony. We will then have a day of sharing and reflecting before completion.

The Vision Quest is a space for us to reconnect to ourselves and our sacred dream, to seek inspiration for our path ahead and to find healing for all parts of our life through spending days fasting and in silence with Mother Earth.
